Born May 29, 1959 in Long Beach California, John was one of Five brothers who grew up in the same house on Stevely Ave and all went to the same elementary, junior high and high school. The five brothers were David (later known as Jeremiah), Terry, Ray, then John and the youngest, Eric. John's Father, David Faavae Tautolo was a lifer in the Navy. He worked with McDonald Douglas till retirement. John's Mother Faamaise Tautolo was a homemaker and "sports taxi" until she suffered a severe stroke in 1969 that left her fully paralyzed. This would change the family forever!
