A Double Counter Hit is a concept that was first introduced in Power Instinct Matrimelee and has been a recurring feature since. A Double Counter Hit is where the opponent is counter attacked when they are in the process of executing a dashing attack. When they are hit, not only does it interrupt and cancel the attack, but it also inflicts more damage than if they were countered while simply dashing. The attack can be anything; A special move, a Stress Shot, even another dashing attack.
