Provisional Maine is the name given to a group of islands andcounties across southern Maine. After the state government in Augusta collapsed, the citizens took their own here and organized a provisional government. However the "State" only makes up no more than 75,000 people, but yet this has not stopped the government from growing across southern Maine.
