Dakotah is a cigar-smoking drug middleperson working for William Maynard. She arranged for a drug deal with Ira Stone, but wouldn't sell to Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs and Stan Switek, claiming "a journalist" (Stone) was ahead of them. She finally revealed to Tubbs and James "Sonny" Crockett that Stone and Maynard were meeting to discuss his upcoming story exposing "The Sergeant's" deadly heroin.
