Nanami Schmidt is a character appearing in Atelier Violet: The Alchemist of Gramnad 2. She was introduced in the PSP port of the game. Nanami is a merchant full of energy who came to Karotte Village to set up her own shop after hearing about the recent raise of popularity in the village. She likes money and her dream is to expand her shop into a country-wide franchise. Despite her business-minded mannerism, she also has a sharp tongue and can get rude when it comes to matters like window-shopping. However, she is not a bad person at heart. She also refers to herself in third person and by her nickname "Nana".
