Siobhan Fogarty appeared on Coronation Street in March 1989 as Lynne Nelson, a friend of Dawn Prescott. Siobhan performed as an actress for twenty years, which included two years at the Royal Shakespeare Company and productions at the Royal Court and the Globe. She left acting to concentrate on writing, directing and producing short films and documentaries which have been distributed by The British Council, Channel 4, the Short Film Bureau and American-based company Hypnotic.
