At the moment, most of the past of Carly Diggle is unknown. At some point in her life, she married Andrew Diggle, the brother of John Diggle and gave birth to her son Artie. She became a waitress at Big Belly Burger in Starling City and lost her husband after he was killed by the mercanery Deadshot. Carly is very close to her brother in law John and when Diggle brings Oliver and Tommy to the restaurant, she discusses them with him, advises him to be careful and not end up like his brother.
