Djurgårdens IF is a professional sports club based in Stockholm, Sweden, well-known for its successful football and ice hockey department, the most successful of the country with 16 titles since the establishment of the hockey section in 1922 (won in (1926, 1950, 1954, 1955, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1983, 1989, 1990, 1991, 2000 and 2001)). A mainstay in the Elitserien, Djurgårdens plays its home games at the Stockholm Globe Arena. The team also won twice the European Cup, in 1991 and 1992.
