In Japanese these are called "family restaurants" or just famiresu for short. They all have fairly similar menus, and invariably include on their menus a kid's meal called okosama lunch, a kid's curry meal called okosama curry, and a plate of fried potatoes. They all have menus complete with large photos, so non-Japanese speakers can order by just pointing. Most of them also have an all-you-can-drink drink bar. Please see the individual pages for details of what each one offers.
