The First Era was a time period which lasted for an unknown amount of time, starting at the founding of the first human civilizations and ending with the destruction of the intergalactic Al-Antidian Empire during the event known as the Great Cataclysm. This saw the annihilation of human society and the short devolution of the entire human species, which eventually returned to their evolved shapes during the second era, albeit without their increased lifespan.
