Durin VII made an attempt to reclaim Khazad-Dum, now that the Balrog and the Watcher in the Water are gone. The First event in the battle was the Siege of the West Gate. Slurbug led the goblins in a defense, they failed, Slurbug was the only survivor. The Second Attack was the assault on the Courtyard of Moria, Slurbug and the goblins that were in the courtyard were slain. The third attack was the assault on the first chamber. Legions of Moria Goblins led by Gagraz attacked the Dwarven army. They caused many damage to the Dwarven army but were defeated. The fourth attack was the retake of the Bridge of Khazad-Dum, it was an easy attack, they reclaimed the bridge of Khazad-Dum.
