In a wiki, an orphan is a page that has no links from other pages. Although they can be found by searching Titannica it is much preferred that articles also be found having links from other articles. It puts them in context for the user/browser. Ideally, all articles should be reachable through a series of links that start from the Main Page. Certain exceptions to this rule include pages that are archived (including subpages), 'talk pages', 'redirects', and 'disambiguation' pages.
