The mirror-egg is a mind-magic training tool used when a projective of any type is refusing to lock down his or her Gift. An egg-shaped shield is placed around the person, reflecting any projections right back at them. It's both unpleasant and highly effective. Kethry used this concept in her magical mirror-egg spell, only hers reflected magical energy rather than mind-magic.
