A Lot of Hot Water is a 1971 Sesame Street book and record set written by Matt Robinson, the original performer of Gordon. Robinson reads the story in character as "Gordon of Sesame Street" on the record. Lonesome Lewis, the title character, gets into a lot of trouble because he doesn't like people and refuses to ask for help. The story was later republished in the 1972 Gordon of Sesame Street Storybook.
