The Tsuji prototype (辻原型) was a creation of Kagura. It was the precursor to the Tsuji race and expressed the power of a Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy in one body. Aside from testing Kagura's racial research its mission was to capture Shiju Shūdō alive for Kagura's experiments. Its mission was a partial success; it showed the validity of the Tsuji as a race, but was defeated by Yoshiaki Hiroshi before it could capture Shiju.
