Barstool was a planet in the influence sphere of the Solarian League, and the homeworld of the Amphors. Its gravity was about seventy-five percent that of Old Earth. Barstool was settled by humans early in the Diaspora, unaware that there was another sentient race on the planet. They quickly declared the Amphors animals, and exterminated them in less than thirty T-years. The actions of the Barstoolians were strongly condemned by most civilized worlds, as well as a resolution by the Solarian League Assembly, and many star systems boycotted Barstool business for centuries.
