Sonic the Hedgehog cottoned on to the "coincidence" of crime happening because of Zed's rules and used a speed vortex on the monkey, the pressure causing Madmeano to pop out of his disguise. Somehow, the heroes had never noticed that "Zed" had a label on his ear stating what size the costume was.
