Highcliff Fief is a fief in Araluen. In the aftermath of the Second Araluan Civil War the traitor Foldar had been operating there. The baron of Highcliff Fief, Baron Douglas, was supporting Foldar and granted him protection. When the Ranger Gilan was sent here to capture Foldar, he found out the treachery of both and sent the baron to prison as he had already killed Foldar in a duel.
