The Naval Air Station Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services, also referred to as the NASCCFD or NASCC F&ES, was established in 1941 to support flight training and airfield operations on the base. The department is staffed by 67 personnel (including two civilians) in four divisions: Administration, Operations, Fire Prevention/Public Education, and Fire Training, Health, and Safety. The Naval Air Station Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services became a CFAI accredited agency in 2015. The agency responded to over 1,000 calls for service in 2016.
