The Warblers are a sapient species of featherless bird-like creatures. They are carnivores and, apparently, cannot consume alcohol. They are aerial predators and feel a strange biological need to swoop prey from above in mid-flight. Even if they're not going to consume it, they need to capture something before being able to eat something else. If they don't do this, they feel no appetite.
