Dia sang "Bubbly" for her audition. Cee-lo and Blake turned their chairs and Dia chose Blake. In the Battle Rounds Dia was paired against Serabee. They sang "You Can't Hurry Love" and Dia was chosen to move on. In the Live Shows Dia sang "Heartless" and was saved by America. The next week Dia beat out fellow Team Blake competitor Xenia to be the representative of Team Blake and was in the final four. That week Dia sang "Losing my Religion." In the final four Dia sang an original song "Inventing Shadows" and won runner-up (2nd).
