Chiyoko Sakuta (朔田=千代子, "Sakuta Chiyoko") is a member of the Nagano Police Department's Paranormal Crime Investigation Division (超常犯罪捜査課, Chōjō Hanzai Sōsaka), which deals in tackling supernatural crimes. Ironically, Chiyoko has no supernatural power of her own, and relies on the department's superpowered exoskeletion to deal with threats. She is a self-dubbed "hardboiled detective", though considered "half-boiled" by others, who dresses in the style of the late 1930s. She works as a detective in Nagano in her spare time.
