The game begins with the Master Magician flying into the Star Citadel near he stand with the Scardavian Sword. He walks up to the stand and puts his hands on the swords, eventually pulling it out of hits seal. He swings the sword around and proclaims that he can now take over the world, before using the sword to create a portal back to his palace.
