Richmond's career began in 1928 in a Lovian radio play. Throughout the 1930s she would be tha nation's biggest radio star. Her foray into film began with the 1933 film The King of the World and she was praised for her acting. It would only be until 1952 when she reprised another role in Charleston Beach. After that, she would appear in M is for Murder, New York to Paris, and the TV series El Matador. In 1961, Richmond died in a mysterious car accident where they found her vehicle filled with bullet holes.
