Rosock Mekosk was a Roshan from an aristocratic family on Rosha who became a senator in 747 BBY at the age of fifty. In 720 BBY, he was elected Supreme Chancellor after being backed by various Core factions, although he ran against Cos Peradhi of Corellia in the election. Even though he was granted an additional term in 704 BBY through a parliamentary vote, he abruptly announced his retirement only days later. The announcement prompted an election that was won by Anwis Eddicus of Taanab. Twenty-one months after retiring from the public service, it was revealed that he had a terminal, untreatable cancer. He died two months later.
