The Utapaun bident was both a range and melee weapon wielded by the Pau'an warriors of Utapau. As the name suggested, it was a two-pronged version of a trident. The bident, while ostensibly a forked spear, featured a blaster that fired green bolts through the gap between the weapon's prongs. Pau'an warriors, armed with bidents and shields, fought in the Battle of Utapau, riding into combat over Pau City astride dactillion mounts.
