Alpha Monocerotis is a star located in the space of the Klingon Empire. Alpha Monocerotis is an orange star that is visible from Earth in the Monoceros constellation, some 144 light-years distant. This star is located in the general vicinity of Ty'Gokor, B'moth and the Epsilon system. (ST reference: Star Charts) Real-life astronomy currently assigns a G type star designation, G9III, to Alpha Monocerotis, but Star Charts shows the location as a K class orange star.
