File:Q2.png The Upper Mines is the sector of the Strogg mines that is close to the surface. As such, it houses the primary ventilation systems. They have been shut down due to the recent human incursions and now toxic gases have begun to accumulate in certain sports, triggering a lockdown of all exits to the lower levels. Therefore, the ventilation system must be reactivated. The area features heavy industrial machinery, ore grinders, fire vents and lava pools.
