Pilot droids were droids used to pilot starships. During the Clone Wars, the Separatist Alliance made extensive use of OOM pilot battle droids. Fourteen years later, the RX-series pilot droids were used to fly the Star Commuter 2000 shuttles from Lothal. Another model was the FA-4 pilot droid, one of which piloted Count Dooku's own Punworcca 116-class interstellar sloop.
