Shosuro Ijin was a member of the Scorpion Clan. His son Shosuro Itode was fostered to the Crab as a hostage, when he was five years old. Many years later Ijin received a letter from Hida Binuboku, telling Itode had died defending the Kaiu Wall as any other son of Hida.
