Shnict trooper was the lowest military rank for the Shnict species. Primarily infantry, they equipped ASR blaster pistols, shard pistols, and radiation grenades. Some Troopers also used blaster turrets, mainly in critical and defensive situations. In addition to military units, the Shnict trooper was also used as a heavy-duty police unit to manage major criminal situations. When used as police units, they equipped stun batons instead of radiation grenades and shock pistols instead of blaster pistols. Their lightweight armor offered them little protection; they preferred to rely on their superior agility to avoid injury.
