White Claudia is a plant indigenous to the region where Silent Hill is located. The Order uses it for its mystical and hallucinogenic properties and to create the drug PTV. A sentence in the Silent Hill: Play Novel implies that White Claudia is also used to produce Aglaophotis.[1] The white flowers may be a reference to Morning Glory, a family of flowering plants with hallucinogenic seeds common in Asia and North America. Like White Claudia, Morning Glory is often found near water. The hallucinogenic seeds were used in Native American religious ceremonies.
