The differences between the ARX120 and the ARX100 which it replaced are mainly cosmetic, but the ARX120 has a mahogany body with maple top instead of a full mahogany body. Other features include a mahogany neck, dual Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with individual volume controls and a fixed bridge. In 2008, the ARX120 was replaced by the similar ARX140.
