Konrad Rainer Egli is a Hulstrian Hosian Democratic politician who currently serves as Vize-Staatsminister of Hulstria and Gao-Soto and leader of the Hosianisch-Demokratisches Verbund. A relatively minor local politician, modest and dependable, Egli shot to prominence when as Burgomeister of the city of Numamura, he openly took his party colleague and Minister-President Beat Gubler to task when Gubler blocked a planning decision of the city council. Slightly reluctantly allowing himself to persuaded to run for the leadership against Gubler, Egli won leadership first of the Mitranian wing and later was elected to succeed Janna Goddestreu as leader of the national HDV in 3627.
