William is a farmer in New Magincia in Ultima VI William was an old New Magincian farmer who had made peace with his life. The Avatar found William to be a pleasant, albeit unusual man, who seemed strangely proud of the humility of his position. William's one passion in life was for carving hippos, and he fancied himself the best hippo carver in all of Britannia.
