The Apple Lisa was a personal computer released by Apple, Inc in 1983. It was one of the first computers to introduce a graphical user interface. Despite a fairly advanced operating system, the Lisa was not as successful as it's lower-cost cousin, the Macintosh. The Lisa was made for Businesses, but because it was very expensive many businesses didn't want to risk spending that much money. At the time the Lisa was a very powerful computer. Later on it was renamed the Macintosh XL. This article is a stub. You can help Computer Wiki by expanding it.
