The story begins with the news of Bradford ending up in the hospital after he suffered a heart attack during the wedding, as reported by Suzuki St. Pierre. Betty shows up at the hospital, where the resuscitated Bradford is in the Intensive Care Unit, and she's snubbed by Daniel. When Christina see this, Betty tells her that Daniel has indeed fired her.
