McEveety has mostly worked in television, with a long list of television series and made-for-television movies spanning nearly forty years (from 1962 to 2000 ). He started out as an assistant director in a few feature films and television shows (including Zorro), beginning in 1957 . Later, he directed a few features himself, mostly for the Walt Disney Studio, including The Strongest Man in the World (1975 ), featuring William Schallert, James Gregory and Bill Zuckert, and Treasure of Matecumbe (1976 ), which starred Robert Foxworth and featured Jane Wyatt and Robert DoQui.
