The Academy of philosophy was an establishment on Kobbane II that was the base and residence of students wanting to study either philosophy or the teachings of Satus. It was located deep with-in the Great rift valley, designed to isolate its students from the outside world and other external influences so they could see the true meanings of life while being subjected to nature in its purest form. Students usually studied for three-four years under the watchful tutelage of some of the Kobbane system's most recognized philosophers; such as Satus,Carman, Ardius and Vergo.
