Lombard was born in London. She is half Spanish and half Italian. Her TV credits include regular roles in Love Soup and Roman's Empire but she is most famous for her role as WPC Shaz Granger in the hit BBC Drama Ashes to Ashes alongside Phillip Glenister and Keeley Hawes. Lombard has also appeared in several stage productions, including People Who Don't Do Dinner Parties, alongside Mark Stobbart. She also featured in an advert for the MINT Credit Card, where her "boyfriend" sneezed over her parents. She also voiced the role of Mirania in the 2011-2012 game The Last Story for the Nintendo Wii .
