Corazon "Cory" Aquino (d. 2009) was a very important president and the first female president. She won against President Ferdinand Marcos in 1986. Marcos died three years after. Her term was only a transitory government. She participated in Edsa Revolution 1986 against Marcos when her husband was assassinated.
