Molmaan was a male Zaldan who served as the representative from planet Zalda to the Federation Council in the mid 24th century. As with most members of Zaldan culture, he abhorred deceit, including expressions of politeness and other social niceties. Federation President Nanietta Bacco sought Molmaan's advice on foreign policy and defense matters on several ocassions dring her first year in office, respecting his serious opinions, particularly as they related to the evolving political situation within Romulan space.
