Yoshi's Island 2 is the second level on Yoshi's Island in Super Mario World. It is the first level in the game this is required to play in order to finish the game, whilst Yoshi's Island 1 could be avoided. This is the first appearance of Yoshi, who is a popular character in the Mario series.
