Bjorklund was a male human of Asian descent who served as a security guard with Starfleet's security detachment at "Fort Fed" on planet Tenkara in the mid-2260s. Bjorklund was one of the witnesses to Lieutenant Commander Joe Wilder's illegal torture of a Tenkaran prisoner in 2267, who was persuaded by Ensign Pavel Chekov to stand up to their superior officer and report the incident.
