The Splintered Oar is a unique blue item with lore (just like Rakanishu's Blade and Wirt's Original Leg) in Diablo III. It is a guaranteed drop from the unique boss Urzel Mordreg at the end of the quest Doom in Wortham in Hell difficulty. It is somehow connected to the Black Rock Ledger easter egg.
