Dr Cywinski looked after Finn Barton when he was brought into hospital after being accidentally shot by his mother Emma. They performed surgery on Finn but Dr Cywinski informed his family that more surgery would be required when Finn was more stable. Unfortunately, Finn suffered a cardiac arrest, and Dr Cywinski regretfully informed the family that they did all they could.
