The New York Journal of Mathematics is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal. It has an editorial board which as of 2007, consits of 18 university-affiliated scholars in addition to the Editor-in-chief. It is, however, published entirely electronically (on the world-wide web). It is listed in the Journals section of The Electronic Library of Mathematics. According to Mark Steinberger, one of the founding editors: The Journal is an open access journal—that is, its full content is available to anyone via the internet, without subscription or fee.
