Tian Velvar was a pacifistic Jedi High Council member during the Alsakan Crisis and Hutt War. Jedi could recognize him from his blunt comments and lack of a lightsaber. He fought in many battles without carrying a single weapon, but, regardless of his pacifistic nature, he rarely attended to diplomatic missions.
