Dipper was a male dipper who lived in the West Marshes and knew the Warden of Marshwood Hill. He came to the aid of Martin the Warrior and his friends by calling the Warden to save them from the clutches of a tribe of cannibal lizards. Dipper traveled with the company for a while, until the Warden told him to return to his family nest. Not to be confused with the shrew Dipper or Dippler.
