Computer Show, originally named Video Blog, started in early 2009 with "Our First Video". The webseries centered around relatively short (2-5 minutes) videos parodying American pop culture, politics, and social media, or otherwise cleverly commenting on such issues. Background music was made by the couple themselves for the fear of getting their videos flagged for copyright and taken down. This lead to subscribers asking where they could buy their music, and thus the band Mars Argo was born, releasing their debut album Technology is a Dead Bird late in 2009.
